PremiumDetect Tone (AI)
Premium AI tone analysis with confidence, indicators, and improvement suggestions.
About the AI tone detector
Paste a message, post or piece of copy to find out how it comes across. The AI names the primary tone, such as formal, casual, friendly, enthusiastic or aggressive, says how confident it is (low, medium or high) and lists any secondary tones. It quotes two or three bits of your text that give the tone away, describes the audience the writing seems aimed at and finishes with two specific suggestions for adjusting it. Tone is easy to get wrong in writing, because the reader can't hear your voice. A quick check pays off before you send a complaint, a performance review, a sales email or a public reply, when a line that felt direct to you can read as cold or impatient. The quoted indicators show which words cause that effect, so you know what to change. It is a premium tool with one free lifetime trial per account, then Basic with 200 AI requests a month or Pro with 500. Input is capped at 1,500 tokens including the instructions, which is about 3,800 characters or roughly 600 words. Your text goes to Astroworld's server and an AI language model to produce the analysis.
Frequently asked questions
Can it detect sarcasm?
Sometimes. Sarcasm depends on context the model doesn't have, such as your relationship with the reader or an earlier conversation. Obvious irony is easier to spot than dry sarcasm, and a low confidence on a sarcastic line is a hint that real readers may miss the joke too.
Is it reliable across languages?
It works best on English, and the output format is in English. Other languages can work, but have a native speaker check the reading when the message matters.
What does the confidence level mean?
It is the model's own judgment of how clearly the text shows its primary tone: high when the signals are strong and consistent, low when the text is short or mixed. It isn't a measured probability, so read it as a hint about how ambiguous the text is.
How much text should I paste?
A few sentences at least. One short line gives the model very little to go on, while a full email or post shows patterns in word choice and punctuation. The limit is roughly 600 words per request.
